if the core isn't as firm as the first firmer zucchini in the spring, the vegetable gets routed out by the prong that secures it to the mixer rather than turning the vegetables to be cut. Same results with cucumbers. I did find It works as expected with jicama and apples but those don't make good noodles. I'm concerned I will have the same routing results using the spiralizer & have not made a decision to purchase that attachment yet. These attachments were the primary reason I decided to buy a KA mixer.

Just when I thought I couldn't love my Kitchenaid any more, I found this amazing veggie cutter attachment! It does a fantastic job on my zoodles that I can't believe I ever managed without it. It is well made and sturdy-something I have come to expect with my Kitchenaid. It's also super easy to attach and use. I have just touched the surface on what this attachment can do. I can't wait to explore more!

I have had this vegetable sheet cutter and noodle cutter for a few weeks now and I love it. I have been trying to eat healthier, and that includes removing pasta. That is where this kitchen device comes in. I love using this to make zucchini sheets for zucchini lasagna, or noodles for zoodles, or cucumber for sushi and sandwich wraps.
The cutter is very easy to use. KitchenAid attachments fit on any KitchenAid mixer, no matter the size. First attach the device to your mixer, the sheet attachment slips right on and you are ready to go. Bigger vegetables like zucchini need to be cut down to fit in the sheet cutter, about 4.5-5". Next, you push the holders into your vegetable and attach to the cutter.
Cutting the vegetables takes no time at all and is so easy to do with the mixer. Previously, I have used a hand tool that I had to twist and then a big bulky crank tool and they are very large, hard to use, and inefficient. These tools are so much better.
You can use so many different vegetables, like zucchini, cucumber, pototoes, sweet potatoes, apples, carrots, etc.
I definitely recommend.

I love my kitchen aid mixer and the array of attachments that are available. This particular attachment is one of my favorites! My family enjoys eating the vegetable noodles, but they're pricey when you buy them at the store. This has been our practical solution - it's fun and relatively easy to use.

I got this attachment set to go with my KitchenAid Mixer. The instructions were easy to follow, making it easy to put together when needed. So far I've used zucchini and squash and made vegetable noodles. I was surprised at how easy it was to use and how beautiful they came out.

This definitely takes some practice for me to use but I've never tried to make noodles before by hand. It is a true KitchenAid attachment and fits my 100th edition mixer. Being able to make wraps from sheets of vegetables is really cool and this makes it as easy as possible.

We have had this for a couple weeks now and have used it to make wraps with cucumbers and noodles from zucchini. The sheet cutter of the cucumber works well and there are two different sizes you can use. It has a consistent cut and the sheets are very long and usable if you are wanting to make a cucumber wrap. The kids also liked the sheets! We have also made zucchini noodles and so far so good. It works well and we continue to try new concoctions with this!

I was a bit intimidated at first when I first got this. To me it wasn't something I was use to and it looked a bit confusing. But that's not the case at all! Easy to attach. Easy to use. And easy to clean! Didn't take me long to figure out and now I feel like a pro! The vegetable cutter is great! Especially since we are trying to add more into our diet. And who doesn't love noodles. This will definitely come in handy as we make noodles every year! This is really a great little attachment to have! I will definitely be recommending this.

The KitchenAid Vegetable Sheet Cutter Attachment with Noodle Blade is so much fun to use. Set up was quick with the easy to follow instructions.
It is fascinating to watch it perform it's magic on potatoes, zucchini, apples and cucumbers.
I have made chicken enchiladas with potato sheets instead of tortillas, dessert enchiladas with apple sheets, chopped pecans and caramel sauce, zucchini noodles and cucumber wraps.
Tips:
This attachment works best if you use large uniformly shaped vegetables, the thicker, the better. Make sure your veggie is about 4-1/2" long, pop it on and get ready to have fun!
I prefer the thick blade.
Yes, there is a core left, but with potatoes I either incorporate the scraps into the dish or save in the freezer "soup bag". With squash, apples and cucumbers mostly what is left is the core with seeds, so there is no excessive waste.

Ive been looking into getting more attachments for my kitchen aid for quite some time now. This one is one of the better ones. Its easy to set up and put on without much effort. If I can do it I think anyone can. It serves its purpose well and it makes quick and easy zucchini noodles, we are obsessed! I would recommend this!

This spiralizer work so well and is so easy to attach. I've had handheld ones before, and this is a major upgrade! Plus, it's really easy to clean too. I love all the KitchenAid products, and this new one makes a great addition.

I absolutely love these attachments! Not only did we make fresh veggie fettuccine style noodles, but we made a delicious veggie lasagna! It was slightly confusing to figure out the very first time we used it, but once you get the hang of it, it is super easy to take any zucchini or long tubular shaped veggie and make 4-6" wide paper thin "noodles". Then you dry them out on low heat in the oven and you have perfect wide noodles for layering in lasagna. It tasted exactly like the real thing and SO much healthier! These attachments are going to get a lot of use and we are going to enjoy a lot of healthy dishes! :)

I used this to cut some apples into sheets and it worked great! The attachment is quite easy to operate. The apple sheets are great in most any apple dessert, such as tarts. This attachment also cuts items into noodles. Zucchini noodles, squash noodles and more are all possible with this attachment. Kitchenaid once again shows us just how versatile the mixer can be with all of these fun attachments!

I love my KitchenAid mixer - it is wonderful that there are attachments that make it even more useful in the kitchen. At first I was a little intimidated by the look of the attachment, but it was actually very quick to use and it worked perfectly! Now that my family is trying to incorporate more vegetables into our diet, this is the perfect tool to replace noodles or create fun snacks. It worked on the first try and created long continuous sheets that were perfect for vegetable lasagna. It took seconds to make the "noodles", and it was very easy to clean because only a few elements actually touch the food. Highly recommend.

I was really excited to try this tool to help prepare healthier meals and reduce my carb intake, especially zoodles. It was a little complicated to put together/install initially, but after doing it once it became more intuitive. This attachment made quick work of the zuccinis I used, but I was disappointed to discover that the entire core of the zucchini remains on the attachment and isn't shredded/peeled. Therefore I had to use two whole zucchinis to make one portion of zoodles. Unless you want to just each the zucchini core when you are done, it seems pretty wasteful. Other cheaper and simpler veggie noodle tools use the entire vegetable. Unsure if I will continue to use this based on that fact.

I received the KitchenAid Vegetable Sheet Cutter Attachment with Noodle Blade and I absolutely Love it. Very easy to attach to the hub and will help me make healthier choices for my Family. I attached an apple which sliced really thin and even my dog will now eat apples. These attachments can be used for so many things I am excited to keep trying new ideas with them. I also am looking very forward to making Homemade Noodles this winter to go with my Homemade Pasta Sauce.

The KitchenAid Vegetable Sheet Cutter Attachment and Noodle Blade is fantastic.
I'm not a directions guy, but I thought I would have to be, then I looked at the picture on the box and bam! Done. Easy to install. I used the thin slice blade to carve up a potato and it was over like that. Thin sheets that I then fried for homemade potato chips. I will be using this over and over! Very happy!

I got the Vegetable Sheet Cutter Attachment with Noodle Blade from Kitchen Aid for my Kitchen Aid Maschine. I do a lot of partys and platters, so i needet something to make it easier on my vegetables slicing. I like the different blades, the blade is sharp and cuts great, it is easy to us and do clean, and the nice storage box makes it easy to store and keeps it safe.

I absolutely love this. It makes eating healthy so much easier. I can now use vegetables in place of pasta and I love that. Once you learn how to set it up, it's so easy and fun to come up with new meals. Just be careful, especially with clean up, The blades are super sharp. I got this few weeks ago and I have used it several times. This is a great product to expand the use of the mixer. The attachments were easier to use than what I had initially thought. I would recommend following the instructions in the manual carefully if this is your first time using mixer attachments. The vegetable sheets and noodle I made were a great alternative to the normal dish and I had fun making it!

I've always wanted to try a Kitchenaid mixer attachment; so glad I now have the vegetable sheet cutter with noodle blade!
When I first began putting the assembly together, I was a little confused. I don't feel the instruction book is as helpful as some of the online videos produced by other users. Once I figured out how to secure my zucchini, I made thin flat "zoodles" with ease. The different sheet cutters make quick work of sturdy vegetables or fruits. The blade(s) are quite well-made and do the job well and the whole unit is very quiet to use.
I was a little dismayed that so much of the core was left, but I will slice it up and add it to my recipe. When you pick a fruit or vegetable, choose one that is unusually wide, instead of selecting a long, slender piece. That's the way to get more out of it.

The veggie sheet cutter with needle blade is a great accessory to the KitchenAid stand mixer. Once you get the hang of using the attachments, it's a breeze to make low-carb veggie sheets. I used zucchini, yellow squash, and carrots. Zucchini worked the best for making thin (or thicker) sheets to make a delicious low-carb lasagna. I also tried making sheets with cucumber to wrap sushi - so delicious! There is a noodle attachment to make long skinny noodles out of vegetables. I made "spaghetti" using carrots and zucchini. Again, zucchini worked the best as a pasta substitute due to the milder flavor and firm (but not overly firm) texture. Very versatile attachments!

KitchenAid Vegtable sheetcutter attachment with noodle balde is the best attachment for the mixer so far. It attaches to your power hub on your mixer. You can cut vegetables,fruit, noodles,you name it , to make thin or thick sheets for a multitude of recipies. I have upped my dinner game with this attachement. Its made of a durable heavy metal to last through out the years and comes in its own storage case. This is a must have for any novice or beginner in the kitchen. The skys the limit with this attachment.

This product simply exceeded my expectations. I never knew that it could be that amazing and i could play around and experiment so much with this kitchenaid attachment. My and my husband are veggie lovers while my kids always argue to eat vegetables. However they do love pasta. This stuff has made me successful to incorporate veggies into my kids diet. Now i can make noddles out of vegetables, whole wheat healthy noodles which they enjoyed alot. I replaced pasta sheets in my lasagna with vegetables sheet so that it turns out to be a healthy dish. Infact i baked veggies sheets in airfryer to make chips too. Sheet vegetables can be used in sandwiches instead of sliced so they are easier to eat. I am a cook by passion , and absolutely love this product. Besides being so much handy, its sturdy too, well made and gives quick cutting. I would recommend this to everyone.

This attachment works great! The noodles came out a nice consistency. Using the vegetable sheet cutter is going to take some practice. I was unsuccessful at getting a squash to cut into a sheet on my first 2 attempts.

I really love zoodles and reducing my carbs through finding ways to make carb heavy noodle dishes with vegetables instead. And I use my Kitchen Aid mixer all the time, so I thought this would be so fun to use. It is fun - but it can be a little time-consuming and you need more zucchini than you might think. I recommend using more smaller zucchini because fat zucchini are too soft in the middle and then it's hard to get the blade to work. With the firmer zucchini we got great noodles but of course of the zucchini is small you have to swap it out more often. Long winded way of saying - this is fun and works great but requires a little "getting to know" time.

I love getting new attachments for my KitchenAid Mixer. This particular one did not disappoint! It's been such a handy tool in my kitchen.
My husband and I eat a lot of veggies and I often make things like veggie wraps and use veggies instead of pasta in my lasagna. This tool makes turning vegetables into thin "sheets" is amazing! Honestly, I don't think I'll ever use pasta in my lasagna now that I can "Sheet" my veggies.
Also, my step-daughter and her boyfriend do a lot of camping and like to dehydrate I big variety of foods. She now come over to my house to "Sheet" a lot of veggies so she can dehydrate them much easier.

We love our kitchen aid and use it weekly. We have used the pasta attachment for a while now and were excited to receive the vegetable sheet cutter. I prefer to use this over our mandolin as I am always worried about cutting my fingers. This was very easy to use and clean. Have been able to make more summer vegetable dishes and am happy to use it for years to come.

It's a fun device and its a good way to play with veggies to be used as 'wraps' to substitute for carbs. You can can even slice potatoes, white and sweet potatoes too. Theres so many options from making your own pasta to whatever else you can imagine.

I got this mainly to make veggie lasagna noodles. Honestly, I was a little disappointed with it. I felt like my vegetable would constantly slip on the skewer causing it to not spin in turn not cutting up into lasagna noodles. That could of been my fault as I bought kind of thinner zucchini from the store. With the cuts it did make were perfect and just like lasagna noodles including consistency and texture. It felt very dense just like a homemade noodle. I haven't messed with the other blades yet which consist of a noodle maker and a thin sheet cutter. The attachment took me a little bit to understand how to install. Once everything was on it was relatively a breeze. I think next time I will get a thicker veggie. I also think once you get used to making noodles with this it will be almost second nature.

My KitchenAid stand mixer is already my favorite kitchen appliance and this attachment adds so much functionality to the unit. Hooking it up takes less than a minute once your used to it and it just performs beautifully. Great for veggie pasta and wraps and so much more. I like to run apples through on the thin blade and give them to the grankids to eat, they love devouring a 15' long roll of apple, even though they would never dream of snacking on a whole one.
Cleaning it is a breeze and you can feel the quality of material when using it. If you love cooking, you will find endless uses for this attachment and there are so many great ideas for it online already.

the slicing has different settings to adjust for your thickness, does not break or fall apartment when put through machine.

My wife and I have went on a very strict diet and this is perfect for us. It is easy to hook up and very easy to use. Slices the veggies just how we need them for wraps and dips and all kind of stuff. Easy to clean and put on and off your mixers. We had no trouble what so ever. Just like every other product from kitchen aid I have nothing but good things to say about their vegetable sheet cutter with noodle blade. It works flawlessly and is very well made. You can't go wrong purchasing this if you want to up your game in the kitchen. Do yourself a favor and add this to your kitchen aid tools!

I just love it that I have another use for my KitchenAid Mixer! And, of course, this is great!! Love that it is multi-use , not only for veggies , but for making noodles! I can't wait until my garden is in full swing, and I can use the vegetable cutter.

I was very disappointed when I tried to make zucchini lasagna. I googled for the best way to make it and followed the recipe to the letter. I used the thick slicer thinking it may be better since zucchini is watery but it didn't matter, the slices were still thin. After cooking I had a soupy mess. Maybe this attachment is good for other things, but my primary use was for vegetable dishes.
As for quality, it is well made, sturdy and I found it easy to use. It just needs to be reworked to be able to use on vegetables.

I became a vegetarian in the last year, and am trying to come up with some fresh new meals to eat. I'm planning on making vegetable lasagne, and maybe some wraps or spring rolls as well! The attachments allow you to make different sizes of noodles and sheets and they look very sturdy and well made

This is made very well. So simple to add to the mixer, and use. The blades just simply click in and have a clear gard so you are able to see the cutting perfection safety. The perfect cut every time. I really like that it doesn't have an extremely loud sound. Perfect for tring all those new recipes, and can also spice up some of your old ones. This is an awesome add for all those great recipes tou can't wait to try!!!

This has great features and works wonderfully. I love that I don't have to store a completely different appliance just to make zoodles! The blades ares sharper than other veggie noodle makers I've used in the past. I have a 7qt kitchenaid and this fits just fine (though I'm pretty sure the attachments work across all mixer sizes). Definitely give this a try if you like zoodles.

I received this product this week and I love it. I make a lot of meal with cooked veggies. I love making noodles out of zucchini and this made it so much easier. It cut my cooking time in half. It is very easy to put together and connect to the kitchen aid. It was also very easy to clean. I highly recommend this product. I also love that is very quite so when the kids are napping I can still us it. I am so excited to see what new things I can do with it.

I have the vegetable sheet cutter and the noodle blade for the kitchenaid mixer. Needless to say I had to wait til my husband got home to help me. I tried just the vegetable sheet cutter first with a cucumber. My cucumber looked like baby food. So we tried an apple and got same results. Not at all happy with this. Then we added the noodle blade and let me just tell you this is the coolest attachment I have gotten thus far. I can turn all kinds of vegetables into noodles and the kids will eat them without having to keep onto them. This attachment I love and everyone needs to have one.

I bought this to continue eating healthier. At first, I was a little frustrated on how to set it up. Once I figured it out and got the hang of it, it was a breeze. I have already recommended it to several of my friends who are gluten intolerant and think I may have them sold. I have used the noodle attachment on zucchini and love it. It is the thicker noodle and not the spiral and like it better. I have used the thin attachment on russet potatoes and enjoy making wraps. My 10 year old daughter even helped make them. The kids really like them and when we have left overs, they happily heat them and devour. My suggestion is to have your filling already prepared so the potato doesn't turn brown before you bake it. One potato goes a long way. The vegetable blade only shreds to a certain point, but you can chop up the rest of it and toss it in something else. Works great. I highly recommend this item. Just remember to go into it knowing it is a learning curve and the more you use it, the easier it becomes.
