We are glad to finally have the Speed Queen dryer that aesthetically matches the washer we bought a couple years back. After having this new dryer for 7 days the heat quit. Today is day 10 with no dryer. I am expecting the parts might arrive today and the service tech will get things back to normal.

Excellent dryer. I love the steam features. As soon as I starting using the dryer I couldn't believe how much lint was pulled out of my towels!! Highly recommend, especially for the customer service and warranty

This review is intended to let the company know of a quality issue. My brand new dryer was delivered with a missing part which rendered the dryer unusable (unless i wanted to risk damaging it). While I do understand things happen, with the delays in scheduling repairs it has been sitting for 3 weeks unusable. I would urge stronger quality checking to make sure products leave the assembly line complete so no one else runs into this issue!

The permanent cycle that we use is stuck on 21 minutes. We had a service call on it and the tech said that was correct. My wife and I are quite confused as to why.

This is the best dryer I have ever had in all my long years of doing household laundry. I purchased both the Washer and the Dryer and I couldn't be more surprised or happy about the choice I made. Both washer and dryer are exceptional machines and if they perform as I expect for many years, I will become a completely loyal customer of Speed Queen.
These two machines performed better than any of the front loaders I have had and the one I just replaced by Maytag. Keep up the good work on making this the number one go to product in terms of laundry cleaning and drying.

I really like this large dryer. I am having trouble with the loads drying all the way. The sensor seems to shut the dryer down before the load is completely dry. I have been using mostly the timed dry because of this.

Love everything about this dryer especially the lint trap being built in. Comparing the lint trap to the clam shell ones that are impossible to open it's like night and day. The clothes always seem to be dry when set to dry dry. On the topic of settings that's where the first gripe is. Each setting is almost like a temp setting in itself ex: Delicate=low, Regular=medium, and HD=high. It states that things like HD is for blankets and bulky things, I'm assuming in how it senses moisture and everything changes due to the bulk, except if the blanket needs low heat then you have to use delicate. It'd almost be easier to just set it like in manual time but have a auto sense setting. On the plus side even blankets on delicate come out dry. The steam isn't technically steam but still works nice. The only other gripe which would be a easy fix is the lint trap while amazing does seem to leave a slight gap/bend on the door facing long side. This doesn't seem to let much of anything past but isn't quite up to par for the price.

Washer we purchased has been working very well since 2017 but the dryer heating element failed after 7 mo. Maybe a fluke or poorly produced foreign part. Under warranty, repairman shows up after a week and brought no parts with as they can't get parts. Very, very disappointing. Can't we even make the darn elements in the states? I still think Speed Queen is a good product but they have some issues to fix. Can't recommend to anyone until this is resolved.

Dryer is so easy to use, so many options and has a big lint catcher that's easy to see so reminds me to clean it. My previous dryer would dry blankets and they would stay wet in the middle because they were balled up. Speed Queen dries differently so drying is done evenly.

Somewhere quality, endurance, dependability, and value in American appliances disappeared over the last 40+ years. After getting flim-flammed with other "Top Brands" and the "Best of the Best", we finally found Speed Queen. It only took 40+ years!!!
The final straw was getting only a year & nine months out of the new other brand's top model and hearing the repairman tell us the gears are plastic, it's made in Mexico with Chinese parts…. And his appliance company services all makes & models. He recommended, as did a family member, to get Speed Queen. American made, old school company. We are thrilled. Finally. I only wish Speed Queen also made dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers……
