Great TV with a software update issuee

Ive had this TV for a couple of years. It has been great with 2 exceptions. 1 the computer had to be replaced within the first few months. It was under warranty and has worked ever since. 2 the last software update has turned my TV into an electronic billboard showing advertisements for movies and shows for about 3 minutes when it is first turned on. I am hoping the next update solves this issue.

I actually purchased my LG TV 2 years ago and everything was great until about 4 weeks ago when a vertical green line appeared on the screen and eventually would not turn back on. Im happy to report that LG took care of replacing the monitor at no charge to me. They went above and beyond to completely satisfy a customer.

Ive had the tv for over a year. The picture is awesome with sharp edges and deep colors. Ive had issues with the sound when I use the Fire Stick but I think I figured it out by charging the way sound is downloaded8

My OLED display periodically shut down from 40 minutes to 4 hours after being turned on I had contact LGs call center for 4 times. It apparently is in India and the accents were so strong that it was difficult to understand them. The only solution that I have found is unplug which is difficult as it is wall mounted.

Our television does not work anymore

Purchased TV 7/2/21. It worked fine until 10/22. At first screen turned green an TV made very loud beeping sound then it would cut off and not work for several hours.This went on daily until 11/22 then television quit working all together. We have called the LG company several times to get help but nothing worked. Our one year warranty ran out in July of last year and 3 months later our 1500.00 TV was not working.. Im so upset but I dont know what to do. We called Electronic Express where we bought TV and they told us to LG company. If anyone has suggestions please let me know.

When I first bought this TV it was amazing. As a matter of fact it still is but I did run into an issue right after my warranty expired. You can get burn-in with this oled my mistake was leaving the default peak brightness. The youtube red line when you pause the video is permanently visible with any bright colors. Its unfortunate really but its a lesson learned still an amazing oled.

We purchased our TV 3/24/2021 it has already stopped working as of 3/14/2023 had issues with it shutting down and freezing up. I didnt realize it only came with a 1 year warranty that should have been a red flag to begin with the picture and sound was great but I cant afford a disposable TV at the price we paid. All of our other TVs are Visio and Samson never had one last under 10 years. Live and learn.

I purchased my 55 LG OLED for its picture quality which is impeccable. If you dont have a home theater system the LG internal audio is quite good especially the sound separation they achieve. The interface has a LOT of room for improvement. That is true of Smart TVs across the board. I bought a Roku Ultra because I found the smart TV interface so problematic. Roku did a far better job of showing off what the LG can do. But Im not sure thats true now- the software has been improved. I gave my Roku Ultra away I dont miss it.

I applaud LG for such great customer service I had another 55 curved display LG OLED that I bought 4 years before that had quite a bit of burn-in issues. I contacted LG customer service and they offered to buy it back of course minus depreciation. I ended up purchasing this one and I couldnt be happier. The tech that is built into this tv is outstanding. Burn-in is longer a problem because of this. The picture is brilliant and clear. Moreover and the refresh rate is outstanding so for you gamers you cant go wrong with this one. It was way more than I expected. LG is trustworthy and they care about their customers. There is no way I will ever go and buy another brand LG you are the BEST

Ive owned this TV so far for about 2 weeks. Wild. Ive never owned a television this nice. The image quality is amazing. The darks and lights are so deep and strong. It looks sounds and feels amazing. I love the menus how it auto switches to my devices how it tunes itself to the shape of my room how you can use the remote as a kind of wii-mote pointing device that it can just look like a painting if I want that it has all the streaming services I use built in that it automatically adjusts to picture modes based on the director/creators specifications that it doesnt have that extra smooth fake look like alot of modern tvs have. I dunno what else to say. Its perfect. Id buy it again.

Very please with the quality of picture and sound quality in a small room. However if it werent for the quality I would have returned this 55in TV. I was unaware that LG tv does not support apps for sprctrum streaming nor DirecTV streaming. I had to pay for and install a direcTV streaming box pending to watch this service and am cancelling the Spectrum streaming altogether. I am trying to simplify my TV experience and LG disappoints

I bought this TV last Feb 2022. I connected my Sonos beam to the ARC HDMI and it was working properly then but about a month ago it stopped working properly. It keeps on going back to the internal speaker and i called LG and we did all the steps that needs to be done still not working. A technician even came and changed the motherboard and still Im having the same problem. I just called LG again and they said they have to send another technician to take a look the TV. The picture quality is fine.
