Great TV. Can be a little quirky with the the OS like choosing a function like LG channels and it quickly goes back to the previous whatever mode you were on. It would have 5 stars but did not come with a magic remote like my previous LG. Should be a standard item. Otherwise I am enjoying.

Complete piece of junk do not buy. Had it two weeks and it developed a vertical line right down the middle. A week later a second line appeared running horizontally across the screen. Ran through all the recommended fixes now getting the run around from LG saying they have to send someone out. If you buy this TV just drive straight to the landfill and drop it off there.

Bought LG TV seven 7 months ago. Internet was disconnected and LG TV was not working.
Spent the next three days of excruciating oversees hold times and customer service with Comcast and then Neargear. All arrows pointed to junk LG TV which apparently is not under warranty.
Reset tv. Buy new cables. LG TV is now spinning wheel of death on accessing their User Agreements FOR MY TV . Yes spinning wheel of death still exists. Shocking. I. Know.
So. Call LG. Yassss more oversees customer service. Spend 84 minutes on troubleshooting.
Mostly change country from USA to Canada turn off tv turn on tv change country from ohhh Canada to big bro USA
Your software is frozen on accessing User Agreements. So. Either the hardware micro chips specifically is junk or LGs backend software is not only junk it is stuck on accessing our Privacy. L
Research online about this exact same issue and see how many of us have this issue:

Using chat I asked if the TV comes with a 5G wifi radio. One guy told me to ask my ISP and promptly ended the chat another told me it does not come with wifi radio and would require another device. No effort was made to talk to or let me talk to a developer of the product. Needless to say I will not be buying LG.

We ordered the TV and once delivered and set up we see what looks like a dent behind the glass at the bottom of the screen. It is not that noticeable unless the screen is blank at the bottom so we did not pack it up and attempt a return. We are hoping it does not get worse.
Instructions were insufficient and we have not yet figured out how to program the remote to control Direct TV so we are stuck using 2remotes and going to Home Screen to select HDMI 1 to change to that service. I am sure there is an easier way but no instructions were provided.

Bought 10/22 and had to return crack in screen exchange for same tv and 2 months later kept disconnecting from WiFi and in march had to repair it under warranty now 10/23 it is acting up again contacted lg ran some diagnostics on it lg says it has error and now have to have it looked at again never buy lg product again

This was a replacement for a similar model LG SmartYV that my daughters cat destroyed long story. Overall it is a good TV though it took waaaaay too long to searching through the on-screen menus to figure out how to display input from my CATV box. And youd think that since 90 of the that is what I use it for it would default to that when I subsequently turn it on but nooooooooo

Ive had this TV for about a month and so far I really like it. I went with another LG because the TV I had before this one lasted me over 10 years with no problems. Im hoping this one lasts like that one did. The picture is beautiful and so many options to adjust it exactly to your preferences. It sounds good too even without a soundbar. Overall pleased so far.

When I bought my 50 LG tv I was extremely pleased. Eight months later while watching t the screen went blank while the sound continued to work.. I was very disappointed that my LG product was useless in such a short periox of time. I expected better. My disappointment was exacerbated further when I learned that LG did not stock a replacement screen for the tv that I purchased in good faith.

Purchased a week ago and it keeps dropping internet connection. No other device on our network is having this issue. We have multiple tvs pcs ipads and phones. We dried your troubleshooting to no avail. Opened a support ticket supposedly we will hear from a technician. The problem is we purchased from BestBuy and we be charged a hefty restocking fee if we cont return it within the next couple days. Your remote is awful as well. Sometimes it responds othertimes it takes you someplace you dont want to go buttons are too small. You guide on the screen is too small to see. For a 50 inch tv I shouldnt have to walk up to the screen to see whats on tv or to put in my password everytime it knocks me out of the internet. Fix these problems and stop selling this hunk of junk.

The TV was a gift from my son and his family. I love the picture and sound but I do NOT like is the remote. It is not the one shown in the packet. It must be an older one. There is no center wheel. the picture are very tiny and it is hard to understand what picture is for what. I have to keep going back and forth between that awful remote to the Direct TV one.

We purchased the TV when the screen on our old one went out. It does have a very nice picture but setting it up was difficult. We have wifi and internet in lur home through Comcast but this TV would not connect to it. I finally had to find an ethernet cord and connect it that way. I have no problems connecting anything else in our home to the wifi so not sure this was a problem.

When I had to replace my TV my brother recommended LG from his own experiences. Im glad I listened to him. The picture quality is really good and the sound settings i think i use theater are mostly plenty loud for my fathers hearing loss.
My only complaint is the base pieces being angled. My tv sits on a dresser in the living room and I knew how wide a base we could fit. The angled pieces wound up being too wide because the measurements are center to center instead of front edges and back edges.

I purchased this TV to replace a 27 year old 200 pound Panasonic tube TV. Needless to say I am happy with the LG Smart TV. It has a great picture and it is easy to set up to stream Netflix Prime TV etc.
