Modern Appliance has factory-trained service technicians who will come to your home and repair your appliance, getting your life back to normal. We service appliances from Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, Amana, Speed Queen, GE, Electrolux, Frigidaire, Kenmore, and more. The standard service fee is $70 for residential appliances in Woodward. For out-of-town customers, we do charge a trip fee. This is a one-time fee to cover the cost of mileage to your location.

You have options for receiving your new appliance:
DIYPick up your new appliances from our warehouse doc during normal business hours. Be sure to bring straps to secure your load. If you need any special assistance loading, please call ahead to ensure we have the right personnel available.
DeliveryIf you want us to get it to your home and you take it from there, we offer delivery, without installation. We will bring the appliance to your home and leave it on a porch or in the garage, in the packaging. This does not include bringing the appliance inside the home.
InstallationSit back and relax. Your technician will start by taking measurements to ensure good fit and determine the best route for bringing in the appliance. We will remove the old unit, as well as unbox and remove packaging from the new appliance. Then we install and test the new appliance. The old appliance will be hauled away and recycled.

If you purchased an Extended Protection Plan from us before May 2025, your contract is through Epic/Centricity. These contracts do offer the coverage you expect. The process has changed, so the overall experience may be frustrating. Our customers used their extended protection plans with ease for 4 years. That is no longer the case.
I want to apologize for the process that they have sunk to. Centricity is honoring their warranties and they are backed by a reputable insurance company. Your contract is good. They have simply made their process as difficult as possible. We stopped selling their plans, but there are quite a few contracts out there. We will help you through the process the best we can. I encourage you to call us first and we can help explain their process. We have some helpful hints to make the process less of an ordeal.
The Centricity Customer Portal allows you to view your contracts and claims. Claims can be started in the customer portal. You can also start a claim by calling (800) 452-3599.
If you have a disagreement with Centricity, I encourage you to review your terms and conditions and potentially seek mediation and arbitration through AAA. Centricity pays the fees associated with mediation and arbitration.

Modern Appliance can send a certified Appliance Technician to come to your home and check the appliance. He will work up an estimate for parts and labor to fix the issue. We guarantee our work as well with a 90-day warranty.
We offer in-stop repair as space permits. Please call to verify that we do offer repair services for your brand, type of appliance and that we have room in the shop to accommodate. The service fee is due when you drop off your appliance. Units must be picked up within 10 business days of completion of service.
